Who We Are

The Tennis Tree, top-ranked tennis academy in Kolkata, offers well maintained tennis courts, internationally certified coaches, programs for all ages and play levels and a dedicated fitness centre with an internationally acclaimed fitness coach.

Founded in 2017, The Tennis Tree is the culmination of the dreams and passions of two international level tennis players – Farid Alam and Shivika Burman.

The tennis club offers 8 distinct programs covering the full spectrum of play levels (from beginners to professionals) and age categories (from 6 years olds to senior citizens)

We have 180+ players, 12+ internationally certified coaches, 5 clay courts and 2 mini courts, centrally located in Kolkata and accessible from 5 AM to 11 PM, 7 days a week & a gym overseen by a dedicated fitness trainer with advanced level international certifications.

8 of the top 30 national players are our students. Our tennis academy is a crucible for moulding and crafting the best players in the country.
